Canvas

“There is no evil angel but Love. By that sin fell the angels. O’ What may man within him hide, though angel on the outward side! Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell.”

William Shakespeare

Canvas

On the canvas of life
I painted some dreams
Flying in the wide spread sky
Painted blue in colour
Describing the alchemy of life
Giving wings To the heart
Wishes And Dreams
Some day from the heaven
An angel will come
To ask us our wishes
And make them true
To part life
In the world of deads!!

Frozen

‘To die, to sleep – to sleep – perchance to dream: ay, there’s the rub, for in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil, must give us pause.’

Shakespeare (Hamlet)

I was frozen in the hail when it touched me
My blood through the veins was iced
I could not move even a little step ahead
My eyes on the roof were stucked thrice!

Was that a mirage?
But how come it’s been there
Whole incident I was stucked at my place
Move any further step I couldn’t dare!

Next my senses witnessed me sleeping on my bed
Frozen at a place like that night
Gosh! It was a frightening nightmare
And everything at their places were alright!

Superstition ~ my globe

For he is superstitious grown of late,

Quite from the main opinion he held once.

Of fantasy, of dreams and ceremonies

William Shakespeare

Superstition ~ my globe

I’ll tell you your worth,
Your past, present and future.
Come my girl it’s me who’ll help,
there’s nothing in the world,
which my globe can’t tell!

~

Abra-ka-dabra,
She performed a spell.
Lighting up the candles,
In the room whole black!

~

Her eyes were closed,
And mine on the door.
I ran furiously,
away from the spell blow!

Meadow-Shadow

“This our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything.”

William Shakespeare

A shadow of the meadow lying by my sofa
I saw the plants waving at me from window
Gathering my toes together I fitted them in slippers
My legs got me in the garden from long ago
The trees their stood straight with fatten woods
I scratched some of theirs to wash for good
Long time after they were washed by me
Still look too pretty after my handed dusting
The trees so fresh, yeah they give some fruits too
Oh look my God, they are too big too
I guess from last five I haven’t seen
My busy-husy life never dared to keen
Whether I should thank lockdown or corona
Or to change my habit from all trauma
Is it here to give us this advice
Eat nutritive food and healthy diet
Also to take care of our nature properly
Schedule your some time for your own property
I guess I understood what it wanna say
It’s too inappropriate but also in a good way
Plus I wanna make a request to you (corona) too
Don’t be too harsh and spread your flue
We undertook the importance that nature gets
Sorry for our attitude, we won’t copy that!

Icy creaminess 🍦

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"

Liking the ice cream and licking it with pleasure
My eyes were warmth and heart captured treasure

Each lick so sweet, creamy and icy
My mouth filled with love of each slicy

Lick my tongue all the cream with so much enthusiasm
My eyes watched all the ice go slim on my arm

It took an hour completely for me to digest
The taste of ice and creaminess lie best

After an hour my tongue got flickered
Absence make the heart grow fonder

Ice cream was none my eyes filled with tear
I wanted more and more to lose my fear

They said breakup hurts; but not more than emptiness
Specially when it’s about that icy creaminess!

PALM TREE 🌱

Before a dream is realized the soul of the world tests everything that was learned along the way.

Paulo Coelho

Palm Tree

One day we planted a palm tree
We water it regularly with love and affection
We gave it sunlight and support for perfection
It starting growing day by day little to more
We witnessed it’s ageing by whole
One day it grew much older
And far from our reach
It stood straight up too high
Didn’t even bothered to shade we
One day a storm came
And uprooted the selfish tree
Our eyes filled with tears though
We planted it with love for free.

The old lady

A beautiful lady is an accident of nature. A beautiful old lady is a work of art.

Louis Nizer

Old lady

Weaving all coloured threads together
She made a beautiful carpet for door
Every little thing in my house
Wear all the hand made cloths.

Weaved and hooked by love and care
By the lady who sacrificed her all life
Each part decorated so well
In my house her shadows lie.

See my new suit weaved by her
It’s better than those ready-made one
I love the magic she do with her hands
And love the cloths made by her.

Poet Traits

Holding pen for too long
When nothing came to mind
I decided to write the situation
That fully compiled my time.

These maths, these chemistries
Sometimes wave as vain
Sometime they land safely
On the track by my mind plane.

Newton’s physics a disaster
Hyugen’s law stands on the street.

English is bit loved
Writing too far for
All my mind being stucked
In calculus parts though.

Science’s being too tough
Exams are at a league
Corona disturbing whole of future
And me patiently read.

What would be tomorrow now like
Everyone’s question being same
I write my poetries to remove thy mind
And entertain all these traits.

In situation like today we need all is
To sit, use mask, ‘nd sanitise
Be at home as far as possible
And save ourselves from corona tide.

Least contacts, no handshakes
Use your words to greet
Safe yourself, do regular sanitise
Make your home germs free.

“And now I understand something so frightening &wonderful-

how the mind clings to the road it knows,

rushing through crossroads, sticking

like lint to the familiar .”

Mary Oliver, Blue Pastures

S P A R E W A Y

Addled me, went on vague
Everything foggy, came in way.
I called for keys to open gate,
Spare my way, go spare way.

Standing at crossroads,
My way startled me.
Which path to choose,
My gaze alone left me.

Again my tongue went vague,
Bewildered my mind, sneaked me out.
I stood dumb by side,
And some passed through out.

Which would be the best,
My questions were in vain.
My mind stood empty in front,
Pointing towards the spare way.

Is that what I’d do,
I asked me myself again.
Not a dicky bird retort my brain,
I took the keys ‘nd unlatch spare gate.

Suddenly someone remarked,
I discern my legs, moving right way.
Right way turned right in life,
Spare way still remained un-sliced.

Someone else must be there now,
At the crossroad bewildered and vague.
Those spare keys must be in hands,
He saying; Spare my way, go spare way!

Driving back Home 🏡

( Old / MY )

When I was at home, I was in a better place

William Shakespeare

Driving back Home

These shades remind me the trees
Of mango they were
In the beautiful garden made by me
Will they be now too there?

These routes remind me of roads
With holes and holes all parts
Will my home be developed now
Or old like turned apart?

These songs remind of the tapes
Recorders used to play
Will they still sing songs
Of the reels their lay?

These bouquets remind of flowers
In my garden they blow
Who’d taken care of them
Behind us when they grow?

This car reminds me of the scooter
Of the old one we had
Would it be still there
In the garage under the hat?

There are many things here now
That reminds me of my home
Would they still be there
The almira, the rooms and phones?
